New year greetings! (it's late). I'm looking for energetic someone who wants to start up businesses with small (or big) size. Whatever. Doing a business is one of my plans, too. But it has not yet decided. Need more on searching, reviewing, and networking for a while.
Searching member' IDs here in KBC, I found out most of them have attractive experiences with various national origins and many different careers.
So, I'm willing to hear about what you want to do in Korea. And want to give as much helps as I want to get diverse ideas from you. If we could have a common goal, cooperating would be welcome.
Possibly you may not have much practical knowledge on what you want. Me neither. Practical experiences may be obtained when we put in action. No matter what career or position you have, your concerns and interests are valuable resources.
Feel free to share anything if you're interested. Or send me a message. I enjoy searching new things to find opportunities. You click on my ID image to know about me briefly.
I hope you, in 2012, make steady progress to be at the high point in your career.

Permalink Reply by James Shin on January 23, 2012 at 5:30pm Seemingly, you don't understand his and my point. And your insists are fine. It's really okay. But there is something more that you have never thought about, but I've done. Here, two simple questions. Why does a website (like facebook or google) povide users with privacy setting tools? Why are there many various ways where people make relationship, communicate and win confidence?
Viewed objectively, your claim seems less reasonable. we're hopeful that you can learn more.
You admit something that I infer from what you asked me in earlier reply. This is "spontaneousness".
You can be evaluated even by what you ask about. Think about why I ask you the same you've already asked me.
So far, it's been good discussion.

I am interested in an ESL related business and would also consider opening a pub/bar. What can we generate together?

I'm always interested in new and unique things. Can you send a message? thanks.

What kind of business would you like to run?
Permalink Reply by Frisco on January 27, 2012 at 10:52am I am looking for a Korean business partner to help execute a start-up in the foreign teacher recruiting business. My interest in a business partner would be to manage korean b2b (business to business) relationships, corporate sales, as well as other key responsibilities.
Additionally, I am looking to offer a significant ownership stake in the company in exchange for help sourcing start-up funds. I must keep specific details limited for the moment, but if you are interested and can provide direct assistance or connections to an appropriate candidate, please feel free to contact me.
Sincerely,
Frisco Benton
Permalink Reply by Campbell J. Scott on January 27, 2012 at 12:00pm Frisco... to the casual observer, it looks like you are offering someone to do all the work in exchange for a stake in equity.
As you know (or should) setting up this type of company could take less than a day. What are you offering? Just your skill in teaching? Seems like the share & reward is biased?
Permalink Reply by Frisco on January 27, 2012 at 12:14pm I am sorry, I made the mistake of thinking your first name was scott. Thank you for your input Mr. Scott. If you have any advice I am very interested. I am grateful for all help and resources made available to me.

Permalink Reply by Frisco on January 27, 2012 at 12:08pm Good question Scott. I am willing to provide details of the plan with those people with resources. At the end of the day, I am perfectly fine with any individual telling me no. But, the plan is good, and the service offered by the company is unique, at a lower price than competition, and will be difficult to compete against.
If you know anyone that fits the criteria I am looking for, I would be more than happy to present a prospectus to the relevant parties.
thanks for your opinion.
Permalink Reply by Campbell J. Scott on January 27, 2012 at 12:20pm Lower price with a higher quality? Or the same quality? Is it a unique proposition or easily replicatable?
Does what you are offering have true competitive advantage to the market?
I can't state yet that I know someone who would be interested, only that I know people that have the resources at their disposal and are looking for an opportunity in a similar marketplace, though the equity stake they might want depending on the model could be disappointing (they are serial investors).
I am sure that you have carried out your market research in regards to this
Permalink Reply by Frisco on January 27, 2012 at 1:39pm I will send you a more detailed information that will provide you with more information without providing essential details of the strategy. We can discuss details from that point. I should have something for you by sunday. I will be in touch soon.
