The various accelerator pages on Korea Business Central include links to a number of books about Korea. I have added my reviews of the books which I have read to help guide members and visitors in choosing what to read.
If you've got a recommendation for another book, disagree with one of my reviews and or just want to discuss books about Korea and Korean business, then let's talk about it here.

Permalink Reply by Mike Park on March 9, 2013 at 4:39am I'd be interested in knowing what's the oldest book people (KBC members) have found about Korea, which had been written and printed by using the English language. What year was the book printed or first published? And what was the title of the Book?

Mike, Do you mean the first books published about Korea by Westerners back in the late 19th century?
Permalink Reply by Mike Park on March 9, 2013 at 1:59pm Yes - books on Korea written in the 19th C, or even perhaps earlier ... if any exist prior to the 19th C. Even short articles (or a chapter within a book) are of interest to me (not just books).

Mike - There's a 20+ page bibliography at the end of the English translation of A New History of Korea by Ki-Baek Lee (translated (extremely well!) by Edward Wagner) which covers many English writings about Korea going back well over 100 years. I'd encourage you to check that book out.
