Dear KBC'ers,
I while back I got in touch with the KBC community seeking help finding a job. Since then I decided to study Korean language, currently a level 2 Korean student I will finish by the end of February.
Still convinced I can make it here in Korea, I have renewed my job searching quest but to no avail.
I'm in need of help because so far my applications have received few replies. Apparently, what I’m doing isn’t working.
I do what I can to tailor the individual cover letters I write to companies, focusing on their requirements and my strengths that match them. I'm an international Business graduate, have worked in marketing in several countries and speak several languages. I'm looking for someone who can help me by looking at my Cv, cover letter and approach.
Besides correspondence, I would very much like to receive tips on job events, social networking gatherings and such. I'm living in Seoul and I have a flexible schedule.
Finally, I have some experience tutoring English to Korean students privately, but I'm looking for a more stable income such as a hagwon. Being a non-native speaker, many F3/4 jobs are out of my reach. But if you are familiar with any such institution hiring other nationalities, please let me know.
Very much obliged for any tips, links, contacts and criticism (any, if constructive, will do).
