Edelman Digital Korea Seeks Entry-level English Copywriter and Digital Strategist

  • Are you a natural communicator?
  • Are you a mindblowingly awesome writer?
  • Are you in love with social media?
  • Are you (at least) conversational in Korean?
  • Are you looking for a job with lots of growth opportunity?

Hi everybody,

I'm Erik and I lead the digital team at Edelman's Seoul office. We're looking for a native English speaker to join our team. While English should be your first language, you should be fluent enough in Korean to make meaningful contributions during business meetings, read and write emails and communicate with your Korean-speaking colleagues. (This point is non-negotiable.)

A big part of what we do at Edelman Digital is creating English-language social media content for our global clients: Facebook posts, tweets, blog posts, the next big thing posts - all of it. We also interact one-on-one with fans in English through regular community management.

To join this fast-paced, hard working team, the first thing you'll need to do is blow us away with your English writing skills. We’re not looking for someone whose writing is "good enough." We want someone who can paint a picture with words right now. You’ll also need to have knowledge of social media and and good 눈치, of course.

You’ll come in as an intern or entry level associate with the opportunity to work your way up as you learn and prove your PR skills. Your team will include some of the best digital strategists in Korea and and you’ll work with them and learn from them on a daily basis. You’ll also be able to take advantage of Edelman’s global training programs and learn from others in our network of 4,600 employees.

If you think this opportunity is a good fit for you, send your cover letter, resume and an appropriate writing sample to our HR Director, Sunjoo Kim at sunjoo.kim@edelman.com.
