Ondrej is a credit risk manager in the Royal Bank of Scotland's investment banking division where he manages a multi-billion dollar credit portfolio of global corporate clients. Based in London, he works on a broad range of corporate and investment banking transactions on a global scale with a main focus on lending and derivatives transactions throughout EMEA and Asia.

Prior to this, he worked for six years in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria as a corporate banker and credit structurer focusing on multinational corporations investing in the CEE region. He worked mainly with companies from Korea, China & Taiwan, India, Western Europe and the USA. His clients included major Korean corporations such as Hyundai-Kia, Samsung, and LG and a large number of their subsidiaries and suppliers.

Before this, Ondrej lived for four years in Korea where he pursued his studies of business and the Korean language. He also worked in Korea Standards Association, a Seoul-based quality management consultancy firm, where his main area of expertise was Total Productive Maintenance and Productivity Innovation.

Ondrej has a MA degree in Political Science and Korean Studies from Charles University in Prague and an MBA in International Business from Ajou University in Suwon. He has been studying Korean and researching Korea since 1995.
