Homebrew Korea 'Brew Your Best' Fest - Looking for prize donations
Hi,
I run the only expat homebrewing community here in Korea, Homebrew Korea. The community forums are there to help people get orientated with respect to brewing in Korea as it can be a bit overwhelming at times. Finding the proper ingredients, where to buy equipment, how to make equipment, and just general brewing related information can be found in the forums. Besides the information, we have a great group of dedicated brewers and regularly get together to talk brewing and share a few pints of each others home brewed beer.
Last spring we held a successful event and will be holding another on November 20th. From 1~5pm at the Gangnam location of Oktoberfest, Homebrew Korea will be holding a 'Brew Your Best' Fest. I have arranged to have unlimited house beer and a few plates of great food at each table for 20,000won per person. Members from both Homebrew Korea and the Korean Daum Cafe group "맥주 만들기" will be attending and participating in the brewing contest.
I am currently looking for sponsors to donate prizes towards the brewing competition. I am looking for prizes for first through third place. I am also planning on inviting the general public to the event to learn and chat home brewing.
With this huge potential for exposure, the event will be a great opportunity for local businesses to spread their name and market their business and products to toward the expat community. The details:
Event: Homebrew Korea ‘Brew Your Best’ Fest
Date: November 20th, 1pm ~ 5pm .
Location: Gangnam Oktoberfest (2min walk from Gangnam Station).
Price: 25,000won per person in advance (see below for bank details), 30,000won per person at the door. Everyone must pay that enters the pub – drinking or not. Shinhan Bank: 110-235-397249 (RobertJTitley). Please email homebrewkorea@gmail.com with your account name and the amount transferred.
What you get: Unlimited house beer (pilsner, weizen and dunkel), each table of 4 people will get a few plates of food (salad, nachos, haxen).
Who’s invited: Anyone and everyone.
What to bring: You best homebrew, hopefully!! Please bring at least a pint (500ml) per beer entry. You may bring more to share.
