Liam and I wanted to make a public announcement regarding our business relationship and decided that the best way was to make a video... in our minds, at least :)
But then we thought no one would care, nor should they, about what we had to say about our business, so to entice you to actually watch the video we included some advice about doing business in Korea.
We're going to continue to torture help you with some business advice in upcoming videos that come out of our recent experiences.
Since this is posted in a discussion, it'd be great to hear your thoughts on any of the things we say.
Here's the video (6:52)...

We will continue to be active in the KBC community.
Permalink Reply by Carl Kwan on February 6, 2012 at 8:13pm Thanks for all the support from you, Steven and other KBC members. The community has been very good to both Liam and I. I'm grateful for the chance to be a part of the community.

Watching this video made me think of the guy featured on CBS News this morning who announced to his colleagues through a podcast that he had terminal cancer...
You guys have been inseparable for so long, it's odd to think of you working individually. But hey, congratulations on two new beginnings!...
Good luck in your future endeavors. I know we'll be seeing lots of both of you going forward...
Also, by the way, this situation reminds me of the book Crucial Conversations. Have you read it? Fantastic book!
I would also point out another reason for staying on good terms with other foreign business people in Korea... the community is just too small to make enemies...

Exactly what I was thinking about the size of the business community! It's all too easy to make an enemy and not realize the long-term consequences of doing so.

I think you have been - and I honestly hope you'll continue to be - the most defining members of this society. Your contributions are fun to read and watch and certainly very useful.
Way to go Liam, Carl; once again good luck!

I hope to have time to catch up with you soon.
All the best to you, as well :)
Sorry for the delayed reply.
