Dear members of KBC, the Irish of Korea need your help!

Please excuse this rather forward request!

As some of you many already know, I am chairman of the Irish Association of Korea, an organisiation dedicated to the promotion of Ireland and Irishness in Korea. We are currently making preparations to celebrate our biggest event of the year, Saint Patrick's Day, and we need the help of the business community so that this festival can be, once again, successfully held in the city.

Saint Patrick's Day has been celebrated in Seoul for over ten years, and it is often anticipated event that is unique in that in always brings Koreans and Foreigners in an atmosphere of friendliness on the streets of Seoul. In fact, there is probably no other independent festival that takes place on one day where so many people come out and enjoy the music, dancing, food, and craic!

Of course, this festival has always happened courtesy of  the generousity of the business community in South Korea, be that through individual or corporate donations.

Last year we had over 10,000 people join in the festival in Insadong, and this year we are preparing for an even bigger festival to take place in downtown Seoul.

This is a unique opportunity for anyone looking to reach a wide range of people who are culturally aware, outgoing, and willing to try new things. These people include both Koreans and expats.

If you are interested in hearing more about our festival, and learning how you can possibly support and make this festival a reality again, please contact me directly. I am happy to discuss a range of possible options that may be of interest to you, so please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any ideas.

Thanks for your time reading this, and looking forward to hearing from you soon!

Conor
