Looking for Work: Canadian Citizen w/F2 Visa. Degree in Civil Structural Engineering. Knowledgeable Beer Brewer with Consulting Experience.

Hi,

My name is Rob Titley and I am currently looking for work in the Seoul area.  Originally from the Toronto area of Canada, I have been in Korea for eight years.  I currently live just south of Seoul and have an F2 visa.  I have been teaching English here in Korea, but am looking for a change and to move into a more permanent job.

A few years ago I started an online community dedicated to brewing in Korea, specifically beer.  The community continues to grow and is a valuable source of information for those looking to enter the hobby here in Korea.  I have successfully organized, promoted and held three major home brewing/beer festivals in Seoul with over 250 guests in attendance at each festival.  Brewers submitted samples to the brewing contest and with the help of guest judges, winners were chosen and prizes given out.  I have also been doing some consulting work for local pubs and breweries.  I have helped clients with a variety of things ranging from recipe formation to the brewing process itself as well as with diagnosing problems at local breweries.

In addition to the knowledge and experience my engineering degree provided me (designing concrete structures and on-site supervision),  it also provides me with valuable analytical and problem solving skills that can prove useful in many other disciplines.  I hope to find a position in which make use of my skills, preferably something in the beer industry but also possibly something related to marketing, public relations or engineering.  I greatly appreciate any contacts or introductions people may be able to provide.

I have attached a copy of my resume for you view/download here.  Please feel free to contact me at robtitley@gmail.com or at 010-2887-0199.
