Great video Liam! Great point about networking - whether it's in person or using the internet, networking is about the other person. Keep up the great job guys.
Exactly -about the other person and saying the write words to spark off a second meeting for relationship-building. But one's method to do so is pretty much dependent on the person your talking with for the first time. Rapid understanding of the other's persons character is a great skill to have any network event.  By the way, I'd be happy connect with you Liam - a weathered Korea-hand like myself.

Nice soapbox Liam! You pointed out something very important I think the most networkers do forget:

  1. To LISTEN to the person in front of you.
  2. To ASK short open questions to that person.
  3. To THANK that person for the time they have spent with you.

FYI - a few more interesting points on this subject of networking to supplement this great video. One of the eight rules included is to listen more than talk...as Liam points out so well.
