Recently I was reading a really interesting article. A Korean actor was driving around with a homemade "snowman" that he was calling his girlfriend. It was a pretty good publicity stunt. I thought of two questions to ask about the article.

Read the article here:

"박유천 여자친구? 설인자가 누구야"
http://m.news.naver.com/read.nhn?mode=LSD&mid=sec&sid1=106&...

Easy Question:
Where did the snowman go to college?

Hard Question:
Explain the pun around the snowman's name.

Thanks for the posting.

I'll come back later to see if the questions have been answered by others, but KBC members will just have to indulge me on this little video that came to mind when I read this posting. My kids and niece made it last winter: "The Warriors Who Saved Santa Claus" (who is apparently in the shape of a snowman)...

I'll go ahead and answer the questions:

1. University of Alaska

2. Looks like 설인자 (with 설 standing for the Chinese character for snow) is a play on words with 살인자. Considering that there's nothing murderous about the story, it doesn't seem like all that great of a pun.
You got the first one right, of course. The second question seems to have a little more to it though as far as I can tell. 설 does seem to be the snow character. 인 seems to be 사람 인. Putting those two characters together you get 설인, which is another word for snowman or the abominable snowman. 자 seems to be just added on to make it look like a name, and a lot of women have names that end in 자.
