"Three Hacks for Effective Korean Business Card Exchanges"

Every business introduction in Korea involves a business card exchange. I won’t belabor the point here, but when doing business in Korea, you’re going to look silly if you don’t carry business cards. This is because business cards contain information that’s important in building a subsequent relationship and, as explained in a previous Korea Business Advisor article, the sharing of a business card also means “permission to contact”.

KBC Member Stephane Mot in The Korea Herald talking biz in Asia

"Korea the younger, smarter brother of China? The cliche cumulates too many “no-nos” to be sustainable. First, nations are not anthropomorphic entities you can compare on moral grounds. Second, Northeast Asian relations can be as touchy as minefields, and the epicenter of Confucianism is not the ideal playground for audacious familial metaphors. Ask a Chinese nationalist, and he’d rather consider South Korea and its actual sibling, North Korea, as mere provinces bound to get back to their Motherland. And why not throw in Japan, Russia, or the U.S. for a fuller familial picture?"
