Mike Park replied to Narayanan Kannan's discussion Permanent residency in KoreaIt was a tough lesson for her to learn -especially right after graduation ...but now she knows that health & happiness matter more than a large paycheque & an impressive-sounding title with a large corporation ^.^ My wish for her is that she lives in both internal & external success.
I suspect that she will enjoy herself in her new job.
It sounds like you've had a very rewarding career so far -which has taken you around the world^.^
She will hopefully start enjoying her well-earned PhD. soon ...she just removed herself from a rather unpleasant first work experience in a German company and is now settling into a much happier position at a university.
...my younger sister currently lives & works in Munich. She loves living there. She's a PhD'ed Inorganic Chemist -catalysis is her "field".
May I assume that marine bioligy is your area of expertise?
