"Yes, that's why the article is interesting, comparing private to government and the added point of foreign companies/organizations is a good one. Hopefully the private sector in Korea will catch up soon!!"

Hello Rebecca, I saw your status "Looking for college grads from the UK, US, South Africa, NZ, Australia, Ireland or Canada to teach English in Korea!".

If you find it difficult to look for these people, I can recommend you to contact AIESEC Korea for this, as they have an international internship program that should let you choose among a number of people with the desired profile.

I am a member of AIESEC in Spain, and I can assure you that the organization does quite a professional job, plus you're helping out future leaders by providing them the unique opportunity of developing their career in Korea :)

You can find their contact data (best way to send an e-mail first to (korea.aiesec (at) gmail.com) in:
http://www.aiesec.or.kr/
http://www.aiesec.org/

I hope this is of any help, if there is anything you need contact me and I'll try to answer as soon as possible.

Regards,

Guzmán Díaz

Hi Rebecca,

I was referred to you by Dom Lavigne. I am currently in my 3rd year of undergraduate study in the US and am looking to teach abroad in Korea after I graduate in May 2011.

With regard to teaching in Korea, I have been doing a lot of research on different schools that hire English teachers abroad and found that many of the resources seem a bit unreliable. I was wondering if you knew of or could refer me to any resources that you have had experience with in regard to teaching English in Korea. Any advice you have is greatly appreciated.

Feel free to email me directly ckukonu@gmail.com

Thank you and your response is greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Claudia K. Ukonu
