Rob Everett replied to Cory Olson's discussion What's wrong with Korean Tourism ads?
"I agree as well, it seems like there are about 5 different targets for this ad (Texans, business people/importers, Olympic attendees, Asian tourists, etc) and when you do that it speaks to no one.   Does anyone know if they are trying to target…"

Rob Everett replied to Dave Woods's discussion Why Chinese Mothers Are Superior
"Not sure I agree with that Vince.  I'll give you my perspective.  I have three son's, all of which I expect to make their future living as professionals in the working world, rather than in the NBA or NFL.  However, I also…"

Rob Everett replied to Dave Woods's discussion Why Chinese Mothers Are Superior
"I would agree the right answer is somewhere in the middle.  I do think we don't push children hard enough in the US for example to meet their capability.  But at the same time, the part of the "Chinese" system that I do not…"

"I can agree with that Daniel, as always it depends on the company, who the competition is and the market dynamics. I agree with your last sentence that as companies become more global and have more resources available to them they will be able to…"

Rob Everett replied to Steven S. Bammel's discussion The KBC 9.9 with Daniel (August 9, 2010) - "Korean companies and the issues of dealing with young employees who have studied overseas and returned to Korea."
"I assume the companies saying this want to be globally competitive? If so, that seems like a strategy that will eventually hit a major wall. Isn't the reason for sending anyone overseas (from anywhere) or hiring them after overseas…"
