"What a great project! Just a quick question - would it be technically possible to incorporate obsolete letters to the Hangul assistant? This would be very helpful when preparing cotributions related to historical Korean, ethymology, sijo, etc."

Am I right to guess you were an LDS missionary in Vancouver? I've met plenty to Korea, but you're the first I've known who learned Korean without going to Korea. :) And your plan to study in Korea next year is excellent; that's surely the best way to become a quick master of the country and culture.

My start in Korea started as an English teacher back in 1993; I was in LG for about 5 years. We've been back in Korea full time since the beginning of last year while I study for a masters degree at Hanyang University.

I'll definitely be back in touch to get some of those links for the site later. At the moment I'm waiting for the next Ning upgrade of new apps so I can see what all is there and determine the best way to implement it on the site. Will need plenty of feedback so I hope you'll give me your thoughts about what we end up trying out.

Have a good one!

Hi Matt,

Those are remarkable! We definitely have to get your social media content linked into this site.

How did you get connected with Korea in the first place?

Steven

Hi Matt,

It's nice to see you on the group. Thanks for joining.

I'd be interested in knowing more about how you got involved with Korea and what plans you have here.

Steven
