Weekly Digest (January 10, 2012)

KBC Members,

I watched an amazing video this week that Eun-Shil Park shared on Facebook. Take a look at this: Seoul Time Lapse 2011. Isn’t that amazing?

Eun-Shil's also making a video of KBC success stories. Want to get famous? Read her postingand then send her a message.

1. Some interviews are controversy magnets…

..and for some reason, including some that I still don’t fully understand, Dick Warmington’s interview on KBC last yeargenerated a ton of opinions. It’s also our featured 2011 interview of the week and in it, Dick shares some great insights about education and business in Korea. Check it out and keep reading through the commments… You’re sure to find something you disagree with.

In fact, just this morning I managed to chase someone out of the community without really even trying!

2. Lecture in Seoul - The Giant Within: How Businesses Grow Thru Entre...

KBC Member Abraham Lee recently posted information about an upcoming business learning event in Seoul. Find out more about fine turning your global business acumen in the near year through a lecture by Professor Pablo de Holan of IE Business School about entrepreneurship.

If this isn’t the kind of stuff you expect to learn about on KBC, then what are you here for?

3. Social media, KBC and reputation building during the dead of winter

It’s a fact… many KBC members are missing out on a golden opportunity to promote themselves in the community. Not only can you earn brownie points with your network by sharing great KBC content on Facebook and Twitter, but you can also tweet directly to the KBC homepage by adding the #KBCentral tag to your tweets. And don’t forget that we’ve got several ways to feature your content in video and writtenform right on the front page, if you’d really like to put your opinions out for public discussion. It's free, fun, contributes to the community and makes you a superstar!

Have a great week!
